How Do Animals Make Friends?

Have you ever wondered why dogs and cats are our friends? Are they not our fierce competitors for the attention of a dog or a cat? Do they not hunt, dig and kill other animals to protect themselves and their people? The answers are complex and vary from situation to situation.

How Do Animals Make Friends?

To begin with, dogs and cats are not strictly competitors, at least in the sense that they want to be our friends. Although it is true that dogs will attack and try to harm other animals when they are threatened, most of them do not actually do this deliberately. It’s not like hunting deer and kill them. They might show aggression for reasons such as territorial defense, but usually, this is temporary. A dog might hurt a rival who tries to get close to its territory, but it will back off if it feels that the rival is no longer a threat

At the same time, while some animals may seek to injure or kill other animals solely for the fun of it, most others have a natural desire to be our friends. Some breeds are naturally competitive, while others are friendly. However, friendly animals are generally nicer to share a room with, prefer to share things with us, and would rather spend the day playing with us than playing with other animals. Cats are the exception to this rule.

Dogs and cats also have their own personalities. Certain dogs are extremely noisy and boisterous, while others are shy and meek. Some are good with children while others have problems with other pets and children. So personality type will make a big difference when deciding which animal to choose as a pet.

How Do Animals Make Friends?

Besides character, you need to consider the physical needs of the animal. Make sure that the animal has enough food and water. If you can, you should take the animal to the vet regularly. You should be able to find the right medicine for your pet. The vet can help you choose what medicine is best for the animal.

These are just some of the basic things that you should consider when trying to decide how do animals make friends. As mentioned above, there are some exceptions, such as dogs who protect their owners and are therefore not necessarily friendliest animals. But the majority of animals are friendly. So if you ever decide to get an animal as a pet, you’ll be glad you did.
